What qualification do I need for the TPGL CFO-cum-CS post?

You need CA/ ICWA along with F.C.S. You also need at least 20 years of experience in areas such as budgeting, tariff formulation, internal audit and Company Secretary functions.

Can I apply if I am above 60 years of age?

Yes. The upper age limit is 65 years. A candidate who is retired or above 60 is paid Rs.1, 00, 000/- per month on a consolidated basis, without linkage to any pension.

What will the starting basic pay be for a candidate below 60?

The minimum basic pay at level 20 is ₹118500. DA is paid on top at the present rate of 44%, along with HRA of ₹10000 and CA of ₹400 per month.

Is the post permanent?

No. It is a contractual appointment for 3 years that may be extended by mutual consent. Either side can end it with 30 days' notice or 1 month's salary.

Will I get a pension?

No pension is given by the Government of Tripura or TPGL. You can get EPF benefits, with the employer contributing 12% on (Basic + DA).

Can a government officer apply on deputation?

Yes. In-service candidates may apply directly to TPGL. If selected, they must produce a Release Order or Deputation Order from their present employer when joining.

Will there be a written test?

Final selection is through an interview only. A written test may be used only to shortlist applicants if necessary, along with academic records and experience.

Are travel expenses paid for the interview?

No. TPGL does not pay T.A. / D.A. for attending the interview.
