DFS Goa Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 24 Scientific Assistant, Searcher and More Posts

There are 24 vacancies: Scientific Officer (SOC) 05, Scientific Assistant (DNA) 01, Scientific Assistant 05, Searcher (SOC) 01, Photographer 03 and Videographer 09.

Applications must reach the Directorate of Forensic Sciences, Verna, by 17 November 2026, within the working-day timings that end at 5.30 p.m. Applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected.

You need a Master of Science in Forensic Science/ Chemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Physics with at least second class. You also need at least 02 years' practical experience at a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory, knowledge of Konkani and Computer, and the prescribed physical and vision standards.

The consolidated monthly remuneration is Rs.60,800/- for Scientific Officer (SOC) and Rs.48,800/- for Scientific Assistant (DNA) and Scientific Assistant. It is Rs.39,000/- for Searcher (SOC) and Rs.22,300/- for Photographer and Videographer. No allowance or facility available to regular employees is payable.
