Selection is through a written examination of two papers of 100 marks each, a viva-voce of 30 marks and an evaluation of CCRs / PARs / ACRs of 15 marks. The final merit list is based on the total marks of all three.

A candidate needs at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate in both written papers and not less than 45 per cent in each paper. To be selected, a candidate must also secure 40% of marks in the viva-voce.

When will the examination be held?
