Can I download my formal allotment letter today at 2:00 PM?
No. At 2:00 PM on August 20, OJEE publishes only the provisional allotment PDF for verification. The individually downloadable, formal Provisional Allotment Letter becomes available after query resolution, on August 22 at 11:30 AM.
What should I do if I spot an error in my category or rank in the provisional list?
You can submit an online query or objection through the candidate portal during the window that opens on August 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM. OJEE resolves valid grievances before publishing the final allotment list on August 22.
Is it compulsory to report or pay a fee immediately if I get a seat today?
No. The August 20 release is provisional only. Physical reporting and admission fee payment take place later, between August 24 and August 29, 2026, at the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda.
What is the Float option, and when can I use it?
The Float option allows a candidate to retain their Round 1 allotted seat while still competing for a better preference in Round 2. It can be exercised during physical reporting at OJEE Cell, Gandamunda (August 24-29), after paying the admission fee and completing document verification.
