NCDC Young Professional Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 05 Posts

National Cooperative Development Corporation has notified 5 Young Professional (Fisheries) posts on contract basis, with one post each at Bengaluru (Karnataka), Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Kolkata (West Bengal) and Chennai (Tamil Nadu).

Applications must be submitted only through email in the prescribed proforma to [email protected] on or before 05 May 2026, and any applications received after this date will not be entertained.

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Fisheries Science or Aquaculture with specialization in Fisheries or Marine Biology from a recognised university or institute as the essential qualification.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of formulation or implementation of schemes/projects in Aquaculture or Mariculture, Fisheries post‑harvest processing and value addition, or Aquaculture‑related activities.

The maximum age limit is 45 years as on the last date for submission of application, and candidates must ensure they fall within this limit on the closing date; the notification does not specify separate category‑wise relaxations beyond this cap.

The engagement is purely contractual, initially for 3 years, and may be extended by 1 more year based on performance and requirement, for a maximum tenure of 4 years, with no claim for regular appointment or seniority in NCDC.

The consolidated monthly remuneration is negotiable, generally linked to the last/current pay drawn, and is inclusive of all applicable taxes, with no additional allowances or facilities beyond what is mentioned; an annual increment of around 5% within the approved range may be considered after one year of satisfactory performance.

Selection involves preliminary shortlisting based on academic records and relevant experience, followed by an Interview / Personal Discussion for shortlisted candidates only; merely fulfilling eligibility does not guarantee a call for interview, and the final decision rests with NCDC’s selection committee.
