MUC Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 2 Assistant Professor, Internal Auditor Posts

Assistant Professor (SC): Rs. 1,000. Internal Auditor (UR): Rs. 700.

It depends on the post: Rs. 57,700 - Rs. 1,82,400 (and all other admissible allowances) for Assistant Professor, Department of History, Rs. 22,000 to 97,000 , GP Rs. 9,700 (and all other admissible allowances) for Internal Auditor.

Assistant Professor (History): high Second-Class Master's Degree in any branch of History with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, with specialized knowledge of the historical and religious literature and culture of Assam, and NET/SET pass. Internal Auditor: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with major in Accountancy, uniformly good academic record, five years' auditing experience and working knowledge of Tally. The requirement for each post is in the eligibility table above.

Yes. Open to eligible Indian citizens. Internal Auditor must have working knowledge of computerized accounting including Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime. Selected candidates must be medically fit, certified by the Joint Director of Health Services of the district or a Government Medical Officer, before joining.

Candidates found indulging in canvassing in any form will be disqualified. Applications in any form other than the prescribed form will not be accepted.

Screening. Interview. All applications scrutinized by a Screening Committee for short-listing. Stringent criteria may be applied while short-listing; only short-listed candidates are called for interview.

All posts shall remain purely temporary till confirmed after a minimum of one year's probation, which may be extended if necessary. Appointee must join within one month of the appointment order; the Vice-Chancellor may extend this in exceptional circumstances. Appointee must execute an agreement to abide by the Acts, Statutes, Ordinances, Rules and Regulations of the University.
