What is MPSeDC GET Program 3.0 and is it a job or a training program?

MPSeDC GET Program 3.0 is a 1-year paid training program, not a permanent government job. Selected candidates join as trainees and receive a stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month. Those who clear the Half Yearly and Yearly Assessments are issued a Certificate of Completion and get an opportunity to appear in interviews for the Associate Engineer position at MPSeDC on the payroll of empanelled Third-Party Agencies — it does not guarantee direct permanent employment.

What is the last date to apply and what is the application fee?

The last date to apply is 16-Jun-2026. The application fee is Rs. 800/- (inclusive of GST), payable online through the MP Online Portal or through MP Online Kiosk. Fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. An edit facility is available post-payment for a one-time portal fee of Rs. 50/- + GST.

I am a Diploma holder in Computer Science. Am I eligible?

No. Diploma or PG Diploma holders are explicitly excluded from the GET Program 3.0 regardless of their specialization, marks, or experience. Only candidates with a full B.E./B.Tech degree or Graduation/Post-Graduation in Computer Science/IT or equivalent are eligible.

My college is in Madhya Pradesh but I belong to another state. Can I apply?

Yes. Both Domicile and Non-Domicile candidates are eligible, provided they have completed their qualifying degree from a Madhya Pradesh institution. State of domicile does not disqualify you — the MP degree requirement is the key condition.

I graduated 14 months ago. Am I still eligible?

No. The gap between the award of your degree and the date of the MPSeDC advertisement notification must not exceed 365 days (1 year). If your degree was awarded more than 1 year before the advertisement date, you are ineligible for this program.

What is the exam pattern and how should I prepare?

The exam consists of 85 MCQs + 15 Programming Questions in a 3-hour online format. The syllabus covers 6 areas: Java (20%), .Net (20%), PHP (20%), Quality Assurance (10%), Software Engineering (10%), and Emerging Technologies (20%). A minimum of 35% marks is required to qualify. Prepare all 6 areas proportionally and practice programming questions — especially in Java, PHP, and .Net frameworks — to score well enough to enter the top 150.

Can I choose my exam center? What cities are available?

Yes, you can provide 4 preferences from the proposed centers: Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore, Gwalior, Sagar, Ujjain, and Satna. Duplicate choices are not acceptable. Final center allocation is at the discretion of MP Online Ltd. — your preference is considered but not guaranteed.

I am in my final semester and haven't received my degree yet. Can I apply?

Yes. Final semester candidates may apply and appear in the examination. However, if selected, you must submit your provisional degree/marksheet to MPSeDC within 2 months of joining. If you fail to clear your final exams or cannot submit the document within the stipulated time, your candidature will be cancelled and the next waitlist candidate will be given the opportunity.
