Yes. MCC has released the NEET-MDS Counselling 2026 Information Bulletin and Counselling Scheme, covering registration, fees, choice filling, seat allotment, reservation, and the Freeze and Float mechanism. The detailed round-wise schedule is yet to be released separately.

For 50% AIQ/Central Universities, UR/EWS candidates pay ₹1,000 registration fee plus ₹25,000 refundable security deposit (₹26,000 total), while SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates pay ₹500 plus ₹10,000 (₹10,500 total). For Deemed Universities, all categories pay ₹5,000 registration fee plus ₹2,00,000 refundable security deposit (₹2,05,000 total).

Freeze means a candidate accepts the allotted seat and must physically report to the institute. Float means the candidate wants to be considered for an upgrade in a later round and is not required to report at that stage.

MCC has not yet announced the exact registration start date. Only the Information Bulletin has been released so far; the round-wise schedule will be published separately on mcc.nic.in.

Yes, the security deposit is refundable, but only if the candidate follows MCC's reporting, joining, and conduct rules for the counselling round. The registration fee portion is non-refundable in all cases.
