IDBI Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026‑27 is a nationwide recruitment drive under Advertisement No. 8/2025‑26 to fill 33 Specialist Officer posts (DGM, AGM, Manager and Junior Assistant Manager – Security Officer) in domains such as Information System Audit, Risk Management – Information Security, IT & MIS and Security for FY 2026‑27.

A total of 33 Specialist Officer vacancies will be filled in IDBI Bank, including 5 posts of Deputy General Manager (Grade D), 11 posts of Assistant General Manager (Grade C), 9 posts of Manager (Grade B) and 8 posts of Junior Assistant Manager – Security Officer (Grade O).

The online registration and payment of application fee for IDBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026‑27 start from 25 March 2026 and will continue till 08 April 2026, with 01 March 2026 taken as the cut‑off date for age, educational qualification and experience.

Candidates must be Indian citizens (or otherwise eligible as per Govt. norms) and meet post‑specific age limits, educational qualifications in IT/Computer Science/Electronics/Data/AI or XII/Diploma with JCO service for Security Officer, along with the prescribed full‑time officer‑level experience in BFSI/IT/FinTech or Armed Forces as on 01 March 2026.

The age limit varies by grade: Deputy General Manager (Grade D) 35–45 years, Assistant General Manager (Grade C) 28–40 years, Manager (Grade B) 25–35 years, while Junior Assistant Manager – Security Officer (Grade O) can be up to 50 years (inclusive of all relaxations), with category‑wise relaxations applicable as per Government/Bank rules.

For IT & MIS and Information Security roles, candidates generally need a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, ICT, Electronics, AI, Data Science or related disciplines, or MCA/M.Sc (IT/Computer Science), with 4–10 years of officer‑level experience (depending on grade) in BFSI/FinTech/Large IT services, including mandatory years in the relevant functional area like Information Security, Cyber Security, Data Analytics or core IT.

Junior Assistant Manager – Security Officer requires XII/Diploma pass or equivalent from recognised institutes, desirable basic computer proficiency, and at least 15 years of regular service as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) in the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force with exemplary character at the time of retirement, along with medical fitness as per Bank norms.

The selection process comprises preliminary screening of applications based on eligibility, followed by a further selection process which may include Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview, document verification and pre‑recruitment medical test; final selection is subject to verification of all documents and medical fitness.

As per the notification, approximate gross monthly emoluments in metro cities are about ₹1,97,000 for Deputy General Manager (Grade D), ₹1,64,000 for Assistant General Manager (Grade C), ₹1,24,000 for Manager (Grade B), while Junior Assistant Manager – Security Officer (Grade O) will have a CTC of around ₹6.14–6.50 lakh per annum in Class A cities, plus allowances, benefits and performance‑linked variable pay as per Bank rules.
