Who is eligible for HPBOSE D.El.Ed counselling 2026?
Only candidates who have qualified the D.El.Ed CET 2026 with the minimum required marks (50% General/EWS, 45% SC/ST/OBC/PHH, 35% for sports persons) and whose names appear in the official merit list are called for counselling.
Is there an interview during HPBOSE D.El.Ed counselling?
No. Selection is based purely on CET marks. Counselling is conducted only to verify documents/credentials and to allot institutions based on merit and preference.
Can a candidate change the allotted institute after accepting a seat?
No. Once a seat is accepted in any round of counselling, it is final. No request for change of institution is entertained at any later stage, and the candidate cannot participate in subsequent rounds for re-allotment.
What is the age limit for HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET 2026?
Candidates must be born between 31 May 1994 and 31 May 2009 for the General category (equivalent to roughly 17-32 years as on the exam date), with a 5-year upper-age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PHH and Freedom Fighter grandchildren categories. There is no upper age limit for Ex-servicemen.
