How long is the deputation in DRAT Allahabad?

The appointment is on deputation basis initially for a period of up to 03 years, which may be extended as per norms subject to satisfactory performance. The period, including any immediately preceding ex-cadre deputation, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Where will the selected officers be posted?

Section Officer is posted at Lucknow and Private Secretary at Dehradun & Jabalpur. Assistant postings are at Lucknow, Allahabad, Jabalpur and Dehradun. Account Assistant, Stenographer Grade I and Upper Division Clerk postings are at Allahabad, Lucknow, Dehradun, Jabalpur, Patna and Ranchi. The place of posting may undergo change.

Can feeder-grade officials in the DRAT or DRTs apply?

No. Departmental officials in the feeder grade who are in direct line of promotion are not eligible for appointment on deputation. A deputationist in the DRAT/DRTs under DRAT, Allahabad is not eligible for absorption or promotion.
