Each listed department has 1 post per position. Six departments have both an Associate Professor and a Professor post: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Botany, Chemistry, Data Science, Environmental Sciences and Zoology.

A Professor is placed in Academic Level 14 of the 7th CPC, with basic pay from Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200, plus admissible allowances.
