Chittaranjan Locomotive Works CLW Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Walk in for 43 PGT, TGT and Physical Instructor Posts

CLW Chittaranjan Teacher Recruitment 2026 is a walk‑in recruitment drive by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Indian Railways, to engage PGT, TGT and Physical Instructor on a contractual, part‑time basis for Railway Schools for the academic session 2026–27.

The notification is dated 26 March 2026 and the walk‑in‑interviews will be held from 09 April 2026 to 20 April 2026 as per the post‑wise schedule, with reporting time between 09:30 Hrs and 13:30 Hrs.

CLW has announced vacancies for PGT, TGT and Physical Instructor in various subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer, Hindi, Bengali, SST and others in Railway Schools D.V. (Girls), D.V. (Boys) and CHS (EM)/CLW/Chittaranjan; candidates should refer to the official notification for post‑wise and category‑wise seat distribution.

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 65 years as on the date of notification (26 March 2026), and the contractual engagement cannot continue beyond 65 years of age.

For PGT posts, candidates must have a two‑year integrated PG course of NCERT in the relevant subject or a Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned discipline along with B.Ed. or equivalent and proficiency in the teaching medium; computer application knowledge is desirable.

TGT posts require graduation in the concerned subject with specified minimum marks along with B.Ed. or a 2‑year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent combinations as per NCTE/RBE norms and competence to teach through the prescribed medium, while Physical Instructor requires graduation with B.P.Ed. or equivalent and ability to impart Physical Education in English/Hindi.

Selected PGTs will receive Rs.27,500 per month, TGTs will receive Rs.26,250 per month and Physical Instructors will receive Rs.26,250 per month as consolidated remuneration, with no extra allowances and no payment during school vacations; pro‑rata payment will apply for broken months.

As per the official CLW contractual teacher advertisement, no application fee has been prescribed for candidates appearing in the walk‑in‑interview.

The selection process consists of a walk‑in‑interview followed by medical examination (CEE‑TWO, C‑2) and document verification, and candidature will be cancelled if the candidate fails to meet medical standards or document requirements.

Candidates have to download the application form from the official notification, fill it carefully, affix a recent photograph and report on the scheduled date with original certificates and self‑attested copies of educational qualifications, DOB, caste/PwBD, experience, identity proof, NOC (if employed) and two passport‑size photos at Hindi Library/GM Office Building, CLW/Chittaranjan.
