When will the CBSE Class 12 supplementary practical exams 2026 be held?
From 29 July to 4 August 2026, as per the official CBSE circular dated 22 July 2026.
Do RP category students need to appear in the theory exam too?
No. Students placed in the RP (Repeat in Practical) category only need to appear in the practical exam. Their previous theory marks are carried forward.
Do RB category students need to appear in both theory and practical?
Yes. Students in the RB (Repeat in Theory and Practical Both) category must appear in both the practical exam and the theory exam during the Supplementary Examination 2026.
Where will regular students take the practical exam?
Where will private candidates take the practical exam?
At the examination centre fixed for their theory exam. If that centre cannot offer the practical facility for a specific subject, the Regional Office will arrange a nearby centre.
What documents do students need to carry to their school/exam centre?
A copy of their result/mark sheet and their admit card, to be submitted by 27 July 2026.
