BHAVINI Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 50 Posts

It is a recruitment drive by Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) to engage 50 Trade Apprentices across nine ITI trades at Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, under Notice No. BHAVINI/HR/TA-V/2026-2027, on a one-year, stipend-based apprenticeship.

There are 50 vacancies in total, distributed across nine trades: Fitter (10), Machinist (1), Digital Photographer/Photographer (1), Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant)/Fitter (10), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (3), Instrument Mechanic (10), Electrician (10), Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (3), and Draughtsman (Mechanical) (2).

The last date for receipt of the filled-in application is 1 October 2026. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

Qualification varies by trade, but generally requires a 10th class pass (with Science and Mathematics for most trades) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent, along with an ITI Pass Certificate in the relevant trade. See the qualification table above for trade-specific details.

Candidates must not be less than 16 years old. The maximum age limit is 24 years for General and EWS candidates, with relaxation of up to 5 years for SC, up to 3 years for OBC (NCL), and up to 10 years for PWBD candidates, as on 1 October 2026.

Candidates must first register and complete Aadhaar verification online at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. However, the completed application form itself must be downloaded from the BHAVINI website, filled in, and sent by post to the Deputy General Manager (HR), Recruitment Section, BHAVINI, Kalpakkam - 603102, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, so it reaches on or before 1 October 2026.

Selection involves shortlisting based on ITI marks and trade competency, followed by a Trade Test/Certificate Verification, a medical examination, and Police Verification before joining the training.

Selected apprentices receive a minimum stipend of Rs. 9,600/- per month, for those engaged after a one-year ITI course, during the one-year training period.
