Vijayapura Municipal Corporation Civil Servant Recruitment 2026 – 118 Vacancies, Apply by 15 July

A total of 118 Pourakarmika (civil servant / sanitation worker) posts have been notified under Vijayapura Mahanagara Palike as per this recruitment notification dated 06 June 2026.

The application fee is Rs. 100 for all candidates. It must be paid in person at Vijayapura Mahanagara Palike Central Office, and the official receipt must be attached to the application form.

Candidates must be Indian citizens, aged between 18 and 50 years, and must have previously worked in Vijayapura Mahanagara Palike as a Pourakarmika, Loader, UGDS Health Worker, Cleaner, or Health Worker on outsourcing/daily-wage/contract basis for at least one year before the notification date. Knowledge of Kannada is also required.

Selected candidates will be paid the minimum wage as revised from time to time by the Labour Department, along with PF and ESI benefits. The exact wage is subject to the Government's prevailing minimum wage notifications.

These are temporary appointments. Selected candidates will not be entitled to permanent employee benefits and cannot claim regularization or approach courts for permanent employment. They must submit a Notary Affidavit to this effect before joining.
