What is the last date to apply for SAC ISRO Apprentice 2026?
The walk-in registration closes on 3 July 2026. Candidates must appear in person at Building No. 30-D, SAC-ISRO, Ahmedabad between 20 June and 3 July 2026 (working days only) during 10:00–13:00 hrs. There is no online application; hence no "last date" in the traditional sense - first-come-first-serve applies.
What is the stipend for SAC ISRO Graduate Apprentice 2026?
The monthly stipend for a Graduate Apprentice at SAC ISRO is ₹12,300 per month. Technician Apprentices receive ₹10,900 per month, and Trade Apprentices receive ₹10,560 or ₹11,040 per month depending on the post code.
Is there a written exam for SAC ISRO Apprentice 2026?
No. There is no written examination or interview. Selection is done on a first-come-first-serve basis based on document verification at the walk-in venue.
Who is eligible for SAC ISRO Technician Apprentice 2026?
Candidates holding a Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with First Class from a recognized State Board of Technical Education are eligible. The Diploma must be from an institute in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, or Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu, and must have been obtained on or after July 2023.
Can candidates from Tamil Nadu or other states apply for SAC ISRO Apprentice 2026?
For Graduate and Technician Apprenticeships (Post Codes 01–08), only candidates who obtained their Degree/Diploma from institutes in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, or Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu are eligible. Candidates from Tamil Nadu or other states are not eligible for these posts. For Trade Apprenticeships (Post Codes 09–16), ITI qualification must be from Gujarat State only.
Will I get a permanent job at ISRO after completing this apprenticeship?
No. As per the official terms and conditions, apprentices will have no claim for employment at SAC-ISRO or any other ISRO Centre/Unit after completion of training. The program is purely for training purposes.
What documents are needed for the SAC ISRO Apprentice walk-in?
You need: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Date of Birth proof, 10th marksheet and certificate, all qualifying exam marksheets (Degree/Diploma/ITI), caste/category certificate (if applicable), Local Police Verification & Character Certificate (original), Blood Group Report, and SBI Bank Account details. Additionally, registration on NATS or Apprenticeship India portal is mandatory.
What is the age limit for SAC ISRO Trade Apprentices?
For Trade Apprentices (Post Codes 09–16), the age limit is 18 to 35 years as on the date of joining. OBC (NCL) candidates get 3 years of relaxation, and SC/ST candidates get 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.
How many years after passing ITI/Diploma/Degree can I apply?
Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam (Degree/Diploma/ITI) on or after July 2023, and must not have completed 3 years since passing as on the expected date of joining. Even if you passed after July 2023, you are ineligible if 3 years have elapsed by the time of joining.
