What is the pay scale for NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainee post?
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/- at a basic pay of Rs. 30,000/- (E0 Grade). They will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. as per company rules in force from time to time during training/after absorption.
Is there a service bond for NTPC ACT selected candidates?
Yes. Selected candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC categories must execute a service bond of Rs. 2,50,000/-, and SC, ST, and PwBD candidates must execute a service bond of Rs. 1,25,000/-. They are required to serve NTPC for at least 3 years after successful completion of the one-year training period.

Yes. Final year/semester students who expect their result by 31.07.2026 may apply. However, they will be considered for selection only if they can submit the prescribed final/provisional degree dated 31.07.2026 or before. There is no relaxation on this account.
Where will selected NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainees be posted?
The selected candidates will undergo one-year training at various places. The final place of posting will be decided after completion of training and shall be at any of the Stations/Projects/JVs/Subsidiaries of NTPC across India. All posts are transferable at the sole discretion of NTPC management.
