NSUT Teaching and Non Teaching Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 61 Assistant Professor, MO and More Posts

NSUT Recruitment 2026 is a direct recruitment drive for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Group ‘A’ Officer posts at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Dwarka, New Delhi. The posts are being filled under Recruitment Notices NSUT/FACULTY/2026/02 and NSUT/GROUP ‘A’/2026/01 on regular or tenure basis, as per the advertised terms.

The online application process opens on 26 May 2026 (10:00 AM) and closes on 30 June 2026 (midnight). The hard copy of the application with documents must reach NSUT by 15 July 2026 up to 5:00 PM, and written test/interview schedules will be notified later on the official website.

NSUT has notified 39 Assistant Professor and 19 Associate Professor vacancies across Biological Sciences & Engineering / Bio-Technology, Chemistry, Design, Geo-Informatics, Mathematics and Physics. In addition, there are 3 Group ‘A’ officer posts – Campus Director (1), Training & Placement Officer (1) and Medical Officer (1) – making a total of 61 posts.

Assistant Professors are placed in Level 10 (₹57,700–1,82,400) and Associate Professors in Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400–2,17,100) under 7th CPC. Campus Director carries Level 14 (₹1,44,200–2,18,200), Training & Placement Officer Level 13A1 (₹1,31,100–2,16,600) and Medical Officer Level 10 (₹56,100–1,77,500).

For Biological Sciences & Engineering/Bio-Technology and Geo-Informatics, candidates need B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S./Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class in at least one degree. For Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, candidates require a Master’s degree with 55% marks plus NET/SLET/SET, or a Ph.D. as per UGC norms (NET exempt). For Design, a First Class Bachelor’s/4-year Diploma and Master’s/PG Diploma in Design/Engineering plus required professional experience is needed.

Associate Professors require a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level and a minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 2 years post-Ph.D.. They must also have the prescribed number of SCI/SCIE/SCOPUS/UGC-listed publications and meet the UGC 2018 research score requirement, as detailed in the notification for each department.

For Assistant Professor, the maximum age is 35 years on the closing date of online application, and for Associate Professor, it is 50 years. Campus Director must be born on or after 30 June 1966, Training & Placement Officer on or after 30 June 1976, and Medical Officer on or after 30 June 1991, with applicable relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD as per Government of India norms.

General, OBC and EWS candidates must pay ₹1,000 as registration fee + ₹1,000 as processing fee (₹2,000 total) per application. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt from registration fee and pay only ₹1,000 processing fee. The fee is non‑refundable and must be paid only through the online application portal.
