What is the selection process for GUVNL Vidyut Sahayak 2026?
Selection is through a two-tier Computer Based Test (CBT). Tier 1 covers general aptitude subjects (100 marks). Tier 2 covers Electrical Engineering (100 marks). The final merit is based on Tier 2 marks. Shortlisted candidates then undergo document verification and pre-employment medical examination.
Is there negative marking in the exam?
Yes. There is a negative marking of 1/4 mark (0.25 marks) deducted for every wrong answer in both the First Tier and Second Tier examinations.
