Q1. When was the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card released?
Answer: The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card was released on January 17, 2026 for exams scheduled on January 21-24, 2026. Admit cards for remaining dates (January 28-29) will be released 2-3 days before those exam dates.
Q2. Can I download the JEE Main admit card without registration?
Answer: No, only candidates who have successfully completed the JEE Main 2026 registration and paid the application fee can download their admit cards using their Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
Q3. Is it mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card?
Answer: Yes, carrying a printed copy of the admit card is absolutely mandatory. Digital copies on mobile phones or tablets are NOT accepted at the examination center. Candidates without printed admit card will be denied entry.

Answer: No, watches of any kind (analog, digital, smartwatch, fitness band) are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. A virtual timer will be displayed on the computer screen during the exam.

Answer: If you arrive after the gate closing time (8:30 AM for Shift 1 or 2:30 PM for Shift 2), you will NOT be allowed entry under any circumstances, regardless of the reason. Plan to reach at least 30-45 minutes before gate closing.
