IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Walk in for 92 Posts

IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026 is a contractual recruitment drive by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), North Zone, to fill 92 Hospitality Monitor posts for on‑board and static catering services for an initial period of 2 years, extendable by 1 year based on requirement and performance.

A total of 92 vacancies have been notified for the post of Hospitality Monitor on a contractual basis under IRCTC North Zone, with reservation applicable for SC, ST, OBC‑NCL, EWS, PwBD and Ex‑servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Candidates must be Indian nationals, not more than 27 years of age as on 01‑05‑2026, and possess a full‑time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts, B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science, or MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management) from recognized institutes/universities as specified in the notification, while freshers with these qualifications are also eligible.

The upper age limit is 27 years for UR candidates as on 01‑05‑2026, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwBD, and additional relaxation for Ex‑servicemen equal to their defence service plus 3 years as per Government of India norms.

The selection process consists of a walk‑in Personal Interview where candidates are assessed based on their educational credentials, relevant skills and performance in the interview, and a merit list is prepared for engagement subject to document verification and medical fitness as per IRCTC standards.

Selected Hospitality Monitors will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000 per month (inclusive of statutory deductions), along with daily allowance for on‑board duty, eligible lodging charges for outstation night stay, national holiday allowance as per policy, medical insurance reimbursement, and they must also deposit a refundable security of Rs. 25,000 in the form of a demand draft in favour of IRCTC Ltd, New Delhi.

Walk‑in interviews will be conducted from 03 June 2026 to 24 June 2026 between 11:00 AM and 05:00 PM at multiple venues including IRCTC North Zone office in New Delhi, Institute of Hotel Management in Srinagar, IRCTC regional offices at Chandigarh, Jaipur and Lucknow, and candidates can appear at any one convenient centre only.

Selected candidates may be posted anywhere under IRCTC North Zone including Delhi‑NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and can also be deployed at other locations across India at the discretion of IRCTC.

Hospitality Monitors are responsible for supervising and monitoring food production, quality and service in trains and units, ensuring adherence to IRCTC’s hospitality standards and statutory norms, coordinating with staff and vendors, handling passenger complaints and feedback, maintaining reports, and supporting overall customer service and hygiene compliance.
