Hindustan Shipyard HSL Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 34 Manager, Dy Project Officer and More Posts

A total of 34 vacancies have been announced under Hindustan Shipyard Limited Recruitment 2026 — 17 posts on Permanent Absorption basis (Manager Technical-05, Manager HR-02, Deputy Manager Technical-10) and 17 posts on Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis across 8 different positions. The number of vacancies is subject to change at the discretion of HSL Management.

The last date to submit the online application for HSL Visakhapatnam Recruitment 2026 is 24 June 2026 up to 5:00 PM (17:00 hrs) for both Permanent and FTC posts. Once submitted, editing is not allowed. The date may be extended at the discretion of HSL. Candidates are advised to apply well before the closing date.

The application fee is Rs. 300/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates. There is no registration fee for SC/ST/PH (PwD) candidates and Internal Candidates (only permanent HSL employees). The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The maximum age limit varies by post — 40 years for Manager (Technical) [P1] and all Dy. Project Officer FTC posts, 45 years for Manager (HR) [P2], 35 years for Deputy Manager (Technical) [P3], and 57 years for Project Superintendent [F1] and Dy. Project Superintendent [F2] FTC posts, all calculated as on 03 June 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and Internal Candidates as per rules.

The selection process consists of shortlisting (up to 6 times the vacancies based on % marks in essential qualifying examination) followed by an Interview. The interview may be conducted online in VC Mode or physically at HSL Visakhapatnam, and may include Group Discussion, Preliminary Screening Interview, and Final Selection Interview. Permanent post candidates (P1/P2/P3) will be reimbursed to-and-from 2nd AC train fare for physical interview. No travel fare is paid for FTC post candidates.

For Permanent posts, the pay scale is IDA E3 (Rs. 60,000-1,80,000; approx. CTC Rs. 18.42 LPA) and E2 (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000; approx. CTC Rs. 15.51 LPA) plus DA, HRA, allowances, CPF, gratuity, medical reimbursement, and other benefits. For FTC posts, consolidated pay ranges from Rs. 90,000/- per month (Dy. Project Officer level) to Rs. 1,85,000/- per month (Project Superintendent), all inclusive, with a Retention Incentive of Rs. 2,500/- per year for Dy. Project Officer posts.

Yes. Candidates selected for Permanent Absorption posts must execute a Service Agreement Bond of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs) committing to serve HSL for a minimum period of 5 years from the date of joining. No such service bond is applicable for Fixed Term Contract (FTC) posts.

Yes. All Indian Nationals can apply. However, all vacancies are based in Visakhapatnam except the Dy. Project Superintendent (Technical) – Delhi Region (F2) post. Officers selected may also be transferred to other stations for projects up to 2 years at a stretch and may need to undertake outstation duties to Delhi/Yards/Vendor Premises as required by HSL Management.

The experience requirements vary by FTC post: Project Superintendent (F1) requires minimum 20 years in Shipbuilding/Naval Ships/Submarines; Dy. Project Superintendent (F2) requires minimum 18 years; all Dy. Project Officer posts (F3 to F8) require minimum 02 years of relevant post-qualification experience in their respective disciplines (Technical/Civil/Design/HR/Safety/Fire Safety).
