Is this apprenticeship open to candidates from all states?
No. Only candidates who have passed 10th/SSC and ITI (CTS) from a recognized institute in Odisha state are eligible. Candidates from other states are not eligible.
What is the age limit for HAL Koraput NAPS Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27?
The upper age limit for General candidates is 23 years as on 30-06-2026. OBC candidates get 3 years' relaxation (26 years), SC/ST candidates get 5 years' relaxation (28 years), and PwD candidates get 10 years' relaxation (33 years).
What is the stipend for HAL Koraput NAPS Apprentices?
The monthly stipend is Rs. 9,600/- or Rs. 10,560/- depending on the trade, as per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules 2025. Additionally, subsidised lunch is available inside the factory premises on working days, and hostel facility is provided subject to availability.
How is selection done for HAL Koraput NAPS Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27?
Selection is purely merit-based on qualifying examination marks - 70% weightage to 10th grade marks and 30% weightage to ITI marks. There is no written test or interview. Reservation is applied as per the Apprenticeship Act and Government guidelines.
Is NAPS portal registration mandatory for HAL Koraput Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27?
Yes. Candidates must register as "Candidate" on the NAPS apprenticeship portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/) and complete their profile to 100% before applying. Name, Gender, and Date of Birth on the NAPS portal must match exactly with the 10th certificate.
Can candidates with prior apprenticeship or work experience apply?
No. Candidates who have already undergone, are currently undergoing, or are already registered under a NAPS contract elsewhere are not eligible. Candidates with work experience of 1 year or more are also not eligible.
