HAL Bangalore NATS Apprenticeship Training 2026 – Diploma, BE/BTech & Non-Engineering Graduate Walk-in

There are three separate walk-in drives. Diploma holders must attend on 18 June 2026. Non-Engineering Graduates (BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BCA) must attend on 19 June 2026. BE/BTech Engineering Graduates have stream-wise dates from 22 to 26 June 2026. Reporting time for all drives is 08:00 to 11:00 Hrs.

The walk-in is held at the Technical Training Institute, Suranjan Das Road, Bangalore – 560017. The contact numbers are 080-22322516 and 080-22323358.

Diploma holders receive a stipend of Rs. 10,900/- per month. BE/BTech Engineering Graduates and Non-Engineering Graduates (BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BCA) both receive Rs. 12,300/- per month. The training period is 12 months. Out of the total stipend, 50% is borne by the Government.

Candidates must hold a Diploma or Degree (BE/BTech or BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BCA) in the relevant stream from a recognised university in India, obtained on or after 01 August 2021. Candidates with work experience of one or more years are not eligible. Candidates already registered or having completed a NATS contract elsewhere are also not eligible.

No application fee is mentioned in any of the three official notifications for this walk-in selection.

Selection is based on merit on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to vacancy availability. There is no written examination. Candidates report to the venue within the reporting window and undergo document verification.

No. After completion of the apprenticeship training, the contract is terminated and HAL has no obligation to offer any employment to the trained apprentice. The engagement is purely for the one-year training period under NATS.

Candidates must bring original documents including 10th marks sheet, Degree/Diploma Certificate or Provisional Certificate, all semester mark sheets (as applicable), NATS portal registration printout, two passport-size colour photographs, and one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents. Reserved category candidates must also bring a Caste/PWD Certificate.

Candidates must register as a "STUDENT" at www.mhrdnats.gov.in before attending the walk-in and must bring a printed copy of the registration form to the venue.

The Diploma walk-in on 18 June 2026 covers Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aviation/Avionics, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Mechatronics/Metallurgy, Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation, Computer/IT streams, Electronics & Communication, Civil/Chemical Engineering, and Commercial Practice/Library & Information Science.
