GSSSB Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) Recruitment 2026: 110 Posts, Apply Online from 15 June to 29 June 2026

A total of 110 posts of Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), Class-3 are available under the Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

Online applications can be submitted from 15/06/2026 (18:00 hrs) to 29/06/2026 (up to 23:59 hrs).

Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or Diploma in Automobile from a recognized university or institution, along with basic computer knowledge and knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.

Candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age as on 29/06/2026, with age relaxation available for reserved categories, women, ex-servicemen, and persons with disabilities as per applicable rules.

The fee is Rs. 500/- for unreserved candidates and Rs. 400/- for reserved category candidates (women of all categories, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen), payable online along with transaction charges.

Candidates can apply online by visiting https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in, selecting GSSSB, and clicking Apply Online against Advertisement No. 419/202627 before the application window closes on 29/06/2026.

The exam is a single-stage CBRT/OMR-based MCQ test with 210 questions across Part-A (90 marks: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution, Current Affairs, Comprehension) and Part-B (120 marks: Technical subject), with a total duration of 3 hours and negative marking of 1/4 mark per wrong answer.

Selected candidates receive a fixed pay of Rs. 49,600/- per month for the first five years, after which they are placed in the regular Level-7 pay scale (Rs. 39,900 to Rs. 1,26,600), subject to satisfactory performance.

Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in both Part-A and Part-B separately to qualify for the selection process.
