Selection is based solely on a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks conducted in English only over 3 hours. There is no interview. The CBT covers Core Subject (70 marks), Reasoning, General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge (30 marks combined). There are no negative marks.

The tentative CBT exam dates are 22 August 2026 to 29 August 2026. Hall Tickets can be downloaded 7 days before the exam commences. Online Mock Tests will be available from 15 August 2026 for practice.

Yes. Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond to serve APCPDCL for a minimum of 5 years after the 2-year probation period (total 7 years). Original certificates are deposited with APCPDCL for the bond period. Candidates leaving before completing 5 post-probation years must pay ₹10,00,000 as liquidated damages.
