What is the last date to apply for AIIMS CRE-5 2026?
The last date to submit the online application for CRE-5 is 30 June 2026 up to 5:00 PM. No applications will be accepted after the portal closes at this time.
What is the application fee for AIIMS CRE-5?
General and OBC candidates must pay ₹3,000 per group applied. SC, ST, and EWS candidates pay ₹2,400 per group. PwBD candidates are fully exempted from the fee. Fee is paid online and is non-refundable (except for SC/ST candidates who appear in the exam)
What posts are covered under CRE-5?
CRE-5 covers 57 post groups comprising a wide variety of Non-Faculty Group B and Group C posts, including Junior Engineers, Pharmacists, Lab Technologists, Administrative Officers, Clerks, Nurses, OT Technologists, Radiographers, and many other technical and non-technical roles.
How many institutes are participating in CRE-5?
A total of 28 AIIMS and Central Government Institutes/Bodies are participating in CRE-5, including all new AIIMS, ICMR institutes, CNCI Kolkata, Dr. RML Hospital, LHMC, Pasteur Institute of India, and others.
When is the CRE-5 exam date?
The Computer Based Test (CBT) is tentatively scheduled for 25 to 27 July 2026. AIIMS reserves the right to conduct the examination at any other date with 10 days' advance notice.
What is the selection process for CRE-5?
Selection involves a Computer Based Test (CBT) as the primary stage, followed by a Skill Test (for applicable post groups), choice/preference exercise by qualified candidates, seat allocation in order of merit, and document verification by the respective institute.
What is the exam pattern for CRE-5?
The CBT consists of 100 MCQs of 400 marks to be completed in 90 minutes, divided into five sections of 20 questions each. There is a negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. The paper covers 20 questions on General Knowledge, Aptitude & Computer, and 80 domain-specific questions.
Is there any relaxation for PwBD candidates in age and qualifying marks?
Yes. PwBD candidates with benchmark disability (minimum 40%) receive an age relaxation of 10 years irrespective of their category. The qualifying marks for PwBD candidates are 30%, regardless of which category they belong to. Scribes and compensatory time are also available as per applicable government rules.
Where can I check my application status after submission?
Application acceptance status will be published on 9 July 2026 at www.aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates must log in with their credentials to check status. AIIMS does not respond to telephonic or email queries about application status before the scheduled date.
