Eastern Railway is looking for a Goods Train Manager (GTRM) in the Traffic department. Eastern Railway is looking for a Goods Train Manager through GDCE. GDCE is a General departmental competitive examination. Eastern Railway wants to recruit the Goods Train Manager from among their current employees.

Vacancies and Qualifications:

• Available Positions: There are openings for different categories: UR, SC, ST, and OBC.
• Education Requirement: Candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
• Documented Qualifications: Their educational qualifications should be visible in their Service Sheet.
• Awaiting Results: Applicants shouldn't be waiting for their final examination results.
• Higher Education: While having higher qualifications is okay, it won't give them an extra advantage.
• False Information: Providing the wrong details in the application will result in rejection.
• Higher Grade Employees: Those in higher job grades than the announced position aren't eligible to apply.

Age Limit and Proof:

• Upper age limit: 42 years for General candidates, 47 years for SC/ST, and 45 years for OBC.
• Proof of age is required through a 10th-class certificate indicating the date of birth.

Document Requirements:

• Documents such as photographs, signatures, railway identity cards, proof of date of birth, and educational certificates must be uploaded.
• Candidates belonging to reserved categories must also provide relevant caste certificates.
• The application must be submitted in triplicate to the Controlling Officer.

Selection Process:

• The selection process involves a Computer Based Test (CBT), document verification, and medical examination.
• Candidates must meet the minimum percentage marks required to qualify in each category.
• Biometrics will be taken at each stage of the selection process.
