Assistant Vacancies

For the Assistant position, there is one anticipated vacancy available. This vacancy needs to be filled on a deputation basis. The pay level for this position is level 6 of the pay matrix, which ranges from Rs. 35400 to Rs. 112400 according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). It falls under Group 'C', Non-Gazetted, Ministerial category. Candidates eligible for this position include officers from Central or State Government Departments or Organizations.

They should either hold an analogous post or be an Upper Division Clerk in relevant departments with eight years of service in the grade. The pay scale for Upper Division Clerks should be Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

    • Inspector of Income Tax
    • Inspector of Customs and Central Excise
    • Inspector in Narcotics Control Bureau
    • Assistant Enforcement Officer

  • Alternatively, candidates serving as:

    • Head Clerks
    • Tax Assistants
    • Upper Division Clerks
  • They must have qualified in the Departmental Examination for promotion to the grade of Inspector in their respective Departments.

Preference Criteria:

  • Candidates with experience and expertise in:

    • Income Tax Act
    • Customs Act
    • FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act)
    • Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act will be given preference.
