UTIITSL means UTI Infrastructure Technologies and Services Limited. Both UTI and NSDL are linked with the income tax department. What are Documents and Details Required to Apply for a New PAN Card Online ?

One should produce the following copies of the document at the UTIITSL centers for completing the application of new PAN Card. For making any correction or reprint of the PAN Card, the necessary document for which the correction is made has to be handed over to the Income Tax Departments through UTI Centres. The following are the necessary documents.

  • Proof of Identity

  • Proof of Address

  • Proof of Age

The applicant must have accurate information in order to procure the PAN Card. the required details are to be entered in the given space in the online portals of PAN Card respectively. How to Apply for New PAN Card Online through NSDL portal ?

One can easily apply for the new PAN Card Online through the NSDL official portal. This is a simple process. Applying for a PAN Card Online saves time. New PAN Card can be applied online for both individuals as well as others. The following are the steps to be followed to apply a new PAN Card Online.

  • Visit the official NSDL website.

  • Choose the online form 49A for applying for the new PAN Card.

  • Choose the application type as “New PAN “ and select the Category whether the new PAN Card is for individuals or firms or trust or any association of members.

  • Fill in the first name, address, last name, email address, mobile number and date of birth or date of incorporation. 

  • Enter the security code.

  • Enter the details and review it before submitting.

  • On submission of the application form online, the applicant is directed to the payment gateway where the applicant is liable to pay Rs.110 for new PAN card.

  • In case the residential address is provided with an address outside India, then it is charged more.

  • On successful payment, the acknowledgement number is provided.

  • One should take print out of the acknowledgement receipt and it must be sent to the income tax department along with the Identity proof and Address proof within 15 days of online application.

  • Once the verification is over, the PAN number is sent to the applicant’s email id and PAN Card is dispatched to the applicant’s residential address.

Pan Card Online Modifications through NSDL portal

One can always make changes to the PAN Card if there are any spelling mistakes, or any slight changes in the details provided. These errors are always possible at time of the PAN processing stages. It may be also due to the clerical error. So the NDSL has set up provisions for making the changes to the details already printed on the PAN. The procedure for making changes similar to  the application for the new PAN. After submission of relevant documents, the verification is done by the assigned executives. On successful verification, PAN data changes are reflected in the Income Tax Database within 15 to 30 of online application.   • Visit the official NSDL website.

  • Choose the application type as “Changes or correction in existing PAN data”.

  • Select the Category whether the changes is to be made for PAN Card of individuals or firms or trust or any association of members.

  • Fill in the first name, address, sur name, mobile number, email address, PAN Number and date of birth/ incorporation whichever details are applicable based on the category chosen above.

  • Enter the security code.

  • Enter the details which is to be modified and review it before submitting.

  • On submission of the application form online, the applicant is directed to the payment gateway where the applicant is liable to pay Rs.110 for new PAN card.

  • In case the residential address is provided with an address outside India, then it is charged more.

  • On successful payment, the acknowledgement number is provided.

  • One should take print out of the acknowledgement receipt and it must be sent to the income tax department along with the Identity proof and Address proof whichever is required to support the changes of PAN data within 15 days of online application.


Pan Card Online Updation of Information through NSDL portal

PAN Card information already provided at the time of applying may have certain changes to be updated due to changes in the life. How to Reprint PAN Card Online through NSDL portal ?

It is not necessary to be tensed or panic when one has lost or misplaced the physical PAN Card. The duplicate PAN Card can be easily procured by the filling an online application form. This is an easy procedure and the PAN Card is reprinted. In case of applying for the duplicate PAN card online, one should provide the copies of supporting documents. Follow the below steps to reprint PAN Card by applying online through NSDL website.

  • Visit the official NSDL website.

  • Choose the application type as “Reprint of PAN Card (no changes in PAN data)”.

  • Select the Category whether the changes is to be made for PAN Card of individuals or firms or trust or any association of members.

  • Fill in the first name, address, sur name, mobile number, email address, PAN Number and date of birth/ incorporation whichever details are applicable based on the category chosen above.

  • Enter the security code.

  • Enter the details which is to be modified and review it before submitting.

  • On submission of the application form online, the applicant is directed to the payment gateway where the applicant is liable to pay Rs.110 for new PAN card.

  • In case the residential address is provided with an address outside India, then it is charged more.

  • On successful payment, the acknowledgement number is provided.

How to Apply for New PAN Card Online through UTIITSL portal ?

UTIITSL has also provided with the online feature for the people to apply for a new PAN Card.  It is very similar to the application of new PAN card through NSDL portal. It is advisable to use the online features provided by the Income Tax Department to save more time. Here is the step by step procedure for applying of the new PAN Card Online through UTIITSL portal.

  • Visit the UTIITSL official website.

  • Fill the form 49A with the Status whether for individual or others, name, father’s name, date of birth, residential address, office address, telephone number, email id and aadhar number.

  • Click “Validation” to validate the information.

  • Press “Submit” to complete the application process.

  • This proceeds to the payment page where one can either pay through  ne tbanking, debit cards or credit cards to complete the process.

  • On successful payment, the acknowledgement receipt is displayed which contains the acknowledgement number.

  • This page must be printed and sent along with the application form. The copies of the supporting documents for address proof, identity proof and the date of birth must be sent along with the application.

  • All the documents must be submitted in the nearest UTIITSL centre for verification.

  • One receives the new PAN Card if the verification is successful and mostly within 20 working days.

PAN Card Online Modifications through UTIITSL portal

The corrections or any updates in the PAN details can be easily made through the online provision provided by the UTIITSL. These modifications are subject to specified charges. The changes can be made by the same procedure of the application of the new PAN online.  Only difference is the person filling the application must provide the existing PAN Card Number also to make necessary changes in the PAN database. The copies of address proof, identity proof, and proof of age and also the copy of the existing PAN card must be submitted along with the application form at the UTIITSL centers. The application form and the document copies are verified and the changes are made on successful verification. Any changes in the PAN details is advised to be updated in the Income Tax database. PAN Card Online features helps people to a greater extent. Mostly every person applies for a PAN Card irrespective of their income as it serves as a valid identity proof.

How to Reprint PAN Card Online through UTIITSL portal?

The reprint of PAN  which is the duplicate PAN card can be obtained by following the same procedure like the application of the new PAN card. Duplicate PAN card application online saves the taxpayer even if he/she by mistake loses the PAN Card. Even when the physical PAN card is damaged, one can apply for the reprint of PAN Card online. UTIITSL allows the people to apply for the duplicate PAN Card. Reprint of PAN Card Online involves certain charges. When the PAN Card online application form to reprint PAN Card is submitted, the acknowledgement receipt is provided. Download the acknowledgement receipt and take a print out of it. Submit the address proof and identity proof along with the acknowledgement receipt at the nearest UTI centres. Upon successful verification, the reprinted PAN Card is delivered at the applicant’s residence through postal service.

Pan Card Online Status Check 

Pan Card Status can be done either in UTI or NSDL portal which is introduced by Indian Income Tax Department. All the salaried people and people whose earnings exceed the no-tax limits can apply for PAN card. People will be able to file their income tax returns only using PAN Card. Once the applicant has applied for PAN, he/she can check the status of the PAN Card through online mode. On completion of the applying process, the applicant would receive an acknowledgement number which is known  as the Application Coupon Number. Application Coupon number must be kept safe for further activities like the status check or correction updation, etc.
