Jet Airways Chief Executive Officer Cramer Ball resigned

Jet Airways on 17 December 2015 announced that its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cramer Ball has resigned from the post with effect from 29 February 2016.

Jet’s director Gaurang Shetty will be the acting CEO of the airline.

Ball was appointed as Jet’s CEO in May 2014 when the airline was witnessing an exodus of top management after the airline sold 24 percent stake to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad in 2013.

On the other hand, loss-making Italian airline Alitalia on 17 December 2015 announced that it had appointed Ball as its new CEO.
