The International Cricket Council (ICC) on 26 January 2016 launched the official ICC men’s Team Rankings from Test, One Day International (ODI) and T20I cricket.

India returned to the summit of the Test rankings for the first time since August 2011. India is the new leader with 110 rating points followed by Australia and the South Africa.

India had moved to the second of the Test rankings in December 2015 when they defeated South Africa 3-0 on home soil.
