Dena Bank’s Sridhar selected as umpire (Table Tennis) for Rio Olympic Games

Dena Bank’s S. Sridhar has been selected to represent India as Umpire (Table Tennis) in the forthcoming 2016 Rio Olympic Games, the public sector bank said in a statement.

The Olympic Games will start on August 5 and end on August 21, 2016.

Sridhar had also represented India recently in the Asian Games at Incheon, South Korea and Commonwealth Games, Glasgow, Scotland.

He is the only Umpire (Table Tennis) from India and the Indian Banking industry to represent all the three Games, the statement said.

At present, Sridhar is a Blue Badge International Umpire represented India in more than ten World Table Tennis Championships and other International Tournaments.
