NRI who are not eligible for Aadhar Card

NRI who is eligible to obtain an Aadhar Card must link their Aadhar with the PAN Card. NRI must apply for the Aadhar Card. On obtaining the Aadhar Card, the NRI must link it with the PAN Card by following the below steps.
Visit the e-filing website.
Under the quick links, choose “Link Aadhar”.
If the user wishes to check the status of his/her of Aadhar and PAN whether it is linked, press “Check Status” and provide the details of the Aadhar and PAN.
If the status is not linked, the user must in the spaces for PAN, Aadhar, name as in Aadhar respectively.
Tick the check box only the year of birth is mentioned in the Aadhar card.
Enter the captcha image. If the user is physically challenged, they can choose the OTP option.
Press “Link Aadhar” button.
How Should NRI Link Aadhar to Bank Account?
NRI need not worry about the implementation of the Aadhar linking with bank account process. NRI must disclose their non-resident status with proof to their bank. This helps them to keep their bank account secure and active.NRI who are not eligible for an Aadhar need not link it with your bank account. But you need to mention it with the bank in writing. For the NRI who are eligible to obtain Aadhar should mandatorily link it with their bank accounts by following the below steps.
NRI should have a bank login ID and a password. If NRI has not registered for the netbanking account, he/she can do it by registering it in their respective bank’s official website.
NRI must login the details to open the bank account.
In the profile, search for any option like “Aadhar Seeding” or “Aadhar Linking” or “Update Aadhar details”.
Click the Aadhar Seeding option to open the particular page.
Enter the details like the name, Aadhar number, address, etc in the page.
Click “Submit” option.
Bank authorities will verify all the details and if they match with the records, then the Aadhar number is linked with the bank account of the NRI.
