WARNING: This story contains potential spoiler for the ending of “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.” The movie is currently in theaters.
Noa is a young chimpanzee in the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. He belongs to a group of apes called the falconry ape clan. They live in a world where humans have become wild and the apes have formed different clans. Noa is preparing for a special ceremony that marks his coming of age. During this time, he forms close friendships with other apes, like Anaya and Soona.
One day, while collecting eagle eggs for the ceremony, Noa encounters a human scavenger. This encounter leads to a conflict where the scavenger accidentally damages an egg. This event sets off a series of events that change Noa's life. He discovers a group of ape raiders using advanced weapons, which puts his clan in danger.
After a tragic attack on his village, Noa's father is killed, and his clan is taken captive. This loss makes Noa travel on a journey to rescue his clan members. Along the way, he meets an orangutan named Raka, who teaches him about the teachings of Caesar, a legendary ape leader. During his journey, Noa also encounters a human girl named Mae, who can speak, unlike most humans in this world.
Mae becomes an important ally to Noa, although their relationship is complicated by trust issues and conflicting interests. Together with Raka and Mae, Noa faces numerous challenges, including attacks from hostile apes and humans. They eventually reach a coastal camp, where Noa's clan is held captive by an ape named Proximus Caesar. Proximus is using Noa's clan to unlock human technology stored in a vault.

Noa Skills and Abilities
Noa, a chimpanzee in the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, possesses a range of remarkable skills and abilities. As a member of the Eagle Clan, Noa demonstrates intelligence and adaptability that set him apart in his world. One of his notable abilities is his genius-level intellect. This means he can understand complex ideas and make strategic decisions, which are crucial for navigating the challenges he faces.
One of Noa's most unique skills is his ability to speak fluently. Unlike many other apes in his world, Noa can communicate effectively through spoken language, which improves his ability to interact with both apes and humans. Additionally, he is proficient in using sign language, further expanding his communication capabilities.
In terms of physical abilities, Noa showcases animal strengths typical of chimpanzees. He possesses remarkable strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, and endurance. These physical attributes make him a formidable presence in various situations, whether climbing cliffs, running at high speeds, or enduring physical challenges.
He is an expert horse rider, displaying mastery in riding and controlling horses, which proves useful in traversing different terrains and situations. Moreover, Noa is skilled in falconry, the art of training birds of prey. This skill allows him to utilize birds for hunting or exploration.
Are Noa and Caesar related in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes?
In Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Noa is portrayed as a significant character with similarities to the legendary ape Caesar, who led the rise of apekind. In the movie, it's not clear if Noa is directly related to Caesar. Noa is the son of his clan's leader, and by the end of the movie, he becomes the clan's leader himself, embodying the spirit of Caesar's teachings.
Despite sharing traits like compassion, physical appearance, and a birthmark with Caesar, Noa's exact connection to Caesar remains uncertain. Noa's clan, the Eagle Clan, resides near the west coast of the United States, possibly close to where Caesar's original society settled.
One theory suggests that Noa could be related to Caesar through Caesar's son, Cornelius, who survived the events of "War for the Planet of the Apes." Cornelius could have started a new colony, influencing Noa's clan with Caesar's teachings and beliefs. However, the movie leaves this connection uncertain, focusing more on Noa's role as a spiritual successor to Caesar than a direct descendant.
