How to Get X-02 Power Armor in Fallout 4 Speak of The Devil?

To begin your quest for the X-02 Power Armor in Fallout 4's "Speak of the Devil" side quest, head to the Wattz Electronics store. Inside, locate a small table with a radio on it. To begin the quest, pick up Connie's Note and play the Black Devil Vol. 1 holotape.

Following the Trail

After reading Connie's note and holotape, a quest marker will guide you to Relay Tower 0MC-810. Beware of raiders and a Deathclaw in this area. Access the terminal, read Richie's Note, and extend the satellites. Insert the AM 810 holotape, tune the radio to "Stars and Stripes Forever," and follow the new marker to BADTFL Regional Offices.

Inside BADTFL Regional Offices

Fight your way through raiders to reach the back interrogation room where you'll find Connie's body. Loot her body and read the note she left. You'll also find an encrypted FM 52.7 holotape. Hack into it or use the password "e_di@bl0*p7z+rk4CkzEsx@iene" to unlock it.

Reaching the Boston Police Rationing Site

Once you've unlocked the holotape, head to Relay Tower OSC-527 and load the FM 52.7 holotape onto the terminal. Follow the marker to the Boston Police Rationing Site. Gain entry to the building by either throwing a grenade at the door or accessing the roof with Power Armor.

Obtaining the X-02 Power Armor

Navigate through the underground tunnel until you find a radio in front of a locked door with the Power Armor behind it. Activate the radio to unlock the door and claim the X-02 Power Armor. You can also read the terminal behind the Power Armor to learn more about The Devil's intentions.

Making a Choice

After acquiring the Power Armor, you'll face Sgt. Hodges and enemies. Defeat them to complete the quest. You'll then be presented with a decision: short-circuit the radio transmission to kill The Devil or restore the Enclave Radio, unlocking a new radio station.

X-02 Power Armor in Fallout 4 Speak of The Devil

In Fallout 4 Speak of The Devil, the X-02 Power Armor takes center stage. This special suit of power armor was developed by the Enclave for their army. Unlike other advanced power armor models like the X-01, the X-02 is designed with lightweight composites, giving it extra speed and agility. However, it wasn't fully developed during the Brotherhood-Enclave War.

The Devil's Hand, an elite special operations group, got their hands on the prototypes of the X-02. They used these suits for their missions, benefiting from their advanced capabilities. But things took a turn when one member of the Devil's Hand grew disillusioned with the Enclave's practices.

This disillusioned member stole one of the X-02 prototypes and fled to the Commonwealth. There, they found a new purpose for the armor. They became a wasteland vigilante known as the "Black Devil," using the power of the X-02 to fight injustice. However, by the year 2287, they decided to abandon their vigilante role, leaving the armor behind.

Speak of the Devil Quest

In the Speak of the Devil quest, players set out on a mission that was later integrated into Fallout 4 for free. To begin the quest, players need to visit Wattz Consumer Electronics. A holotape called "The Black Devil vol. 1" will be located there, under a poster of the Black Devil. Nearby, Connie's note provides additional context.

From Wattz, players head northeast to relay tower 0MC-810, guarded by hostile Enclave remnants. They'll locate Richie's body near the terminal, along with the AM 810 music catalog holotape and Richie's note. By using the terminal, players extend the satellites and upload music files like "Stars and Stripes Forever" or "Battle Hymn of the Republic" to activate the Radio AM 810 signal.

The adventure continues as players proceed to the BADTFL regional office. Here, they discover Connie's corpse in an interrogation room. By picking up the FM 52.7 music catalog holotape from the table, players gain access to valuable information. However, unlocking the table requires either hacking skills or finding a password.

Players can generate a password list with Hacker 1+, break encryption with Hacker 3+, or locate the password on a cigarette pack behind Connie. Once unlocked, they load the FM 52.7 holotape onto relay tower 0SC-527's terminal and transfer "America the Beautiful" to activate the Radio FM 52.7 signal.

After completing these tasks, players journey to the Boston Police rationing site, where they encounter a locked door. Overcoming this obstacle involves platforming on a nearby shipping container and navigating rooftops to gain entry into the Mass Pike Tunnel.

Activating a radio inside unlocks a door, leading players to the culmination of the quest. Inside the room, players discover the coveted X-02 power armor, along with notes detailing its significance. Additionally, they find the Black Devil's terminal and a safe, which can be unlocked using the terminal.

Fallout 4

Fallout 4 is a video game set in a post-apocalyptic world. It's the fifth main game in the Fallout series. The game was released on November 10, 2015, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The main goal is to search for their missing child, Shaun. The game is set around the Boston area in the year 2287, a decade after the events of "Fallout 3."

Throughout their journey, the Sole Survivor encounters various factions and threats, including the Institute, a mysterious organization, and synths, synthetic beings that resemble humans. The narrative raises questions about the morality of creating sentient beings like synths and explores the consequences of such actions.

Bethesda released a free next-gen update patch for "Fallout 4" in 2024, enhancing the game's performance and graphics on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. This update includes bug fixes, performance modes for smoother gameplay, and quality features for higher-resolution visuals. Additionally, new content from the Creation Club, including three new quests featuring the return of the Enclave faction, was introduced, providing players with more adventures in the wasteland.
