Michelin India is recruiting Assistant Manager – Business support controller in Finance function for its India operations.The position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
In this role, the incumbent will collaborate with activities to provide standard costing inputs on time and ensure quality of data. The role also requires an adequate knowledge in ERP finance module.
- Perform necessary checks on standard costing data and forecast the product cost
- Ensure correctness of expense bookings and take corrective action when required
- Collaborate with Activites in performing Material Variance analysis
- Ensure Stock accuracy by participation in monthly Physical stock take by Activities and Perform monthly Reconciliation of Inventory with General Ledger
- Perform Material Balancing every month
- Prepare monthly MIS on Group Service Expenses
- Conduct Monthly Reforecast Review meeting with Project leaders
- Collaborate with the Project team to provide a realistic Monthly Investment Reforecast to the Zone
- Collaborate with the Activities to send a realistic Monthly Expense / Cost Reforecast to the Zone
- Support the management with early warning signals to aid decision making.
- Participate and Prepare the Service Group Annual Budget Exercise
- Collaborate with the Activities to perform the Standard costing Annual Budget Exercise
- CA/ ICWA with 0 -3 years of work experience in finance/ cost control.
- Rank holders would be more preferred.
- Also, preference for candidates who would have cleared all Groups in first attempt.
- Working experience/ knowledge in any ERP modules
- Candidates who have completed his/her internship with manufacturing MNC
- Candidates having experience in automotive sector
- Candidate with strong costing fundamentals
