Job Description:

Key Responsibilities :-
Meet and exceed KPIs by performing error free work and adherence to deadlines
Achieve productivity targets so as to improve the overall performance of the team.
Adhere to planned shifts
Accurate update of task status in Workflow tool
Prompt and effective response to email system
General reliability as a team member
Provide suggestions for internal process improvements
Provide support and guidance to new staff
Achieve/exceed targets of service delivery
Conduct trainings where ever relevant
Handling day to day communication with stakeholders
Learn and execute BCP tasks, if applicable
Assist in adhoc projects in line with organization focus
Ensure no fines or penalties are imposed, prevent claims
Provide suggestions to improve efficiencies
Generate ideas for process improvements
Participate in internal team meetings and contribute with ideas/suggestions for overall improvement of the operations business unit.
Internal Contacts with various departments Maersk Line Offices.

Candidate Profile:

Skills & Qualifications :-
Minimum Qualification: Graduate (BE / B.Tech / MBA / MCA / MCM are not eligible for this opening)
0 – 2 years of experience in any industry (preferably in shipping & logistics)
Excellent spoken & written skills in English
Should be open to working in rotational shifts 24*7 (including night shifts)
Proficient Skills in MS Word & Excel
Attention to detail and solid analytical skills plus the ability to use both in a very complex environment
Sense of urgency, result oriented and with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to gain respect and confidence from internal and external stakeholders

When the GSC was established in 1999, the main focus was to provide offshoring opportunities and solutions to the shipping and logistics business units of the Group, particularly Maersk Line. But as the GSCs’ competencies grew, other business units of the Group also started migrating their processes to the Global Service Centres.
