Job Description:

Executives are typically project team members who will be involved in providing accounting and audit related advisory support to clients, including
Application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Financial reporting support (technical as well process related) services to clients
Provide technical as well as process assistance in relation to conversion from Indian GAAP to US GAAP/IFRS and vice-versa
Assist clients with respect to financial reporting requirements in connection with listing of securities
XBRL conversion of financial statements of clients
Executives may lead a small team of analysts/trainees on engagements
Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him/her
Monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge
Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
The job would require travel to client locations within India and abroad.

The Individual:

Possess strong domain knowledge , has strong accounting foundation skills
Practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting process
Practical knowledge of the financial reporting compliance from a regulatory perspective
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Possess strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced data analytical tools will be an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills (presentation skills)
Ability to work well in teams
Working knowledge of MS Office applications and exposure to ERP systems like Oracle, SAP and Tally will also be an added advantage
Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours
Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time
Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic

Qualification/ Experience:

Qualified CA or CPA or ACCA with 0 – 2 years of financial / audit experience with a public accounting or advisory firm OR commerce graduates with 2 – 4 years of relevant experience
Experience of financial reporting and from a reputed organization. Past working experience in accounting would be an added advantage
Professionals with industry experience or experience in US GAAP, IFRS, accounting advisory, due diligence and securities offering assignments in India / abroad would be preferred.

Selection process:

Candidates should expect 3 rounds of personal or telephonic interviews to assess fitment and communication skills
