Job Description:

RC-FORENSIC:

The Forensic Service assists clients to identify potential risks by highlighting issues of concern that may cause potential reputation or financial damage to clients while they deal with various counter-parties (vendors, suppliers, partners, customers, employees etc.). It seeks to assist clients in mitigating risk arising from association with a third party which could be engaged in unethical or illegal practices. It can also be used by client to mitigate regulatory risk e.g. Anti-money Laundering, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act compliance.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline
Relevant post qualification experience of business research using the majority of databases
Conducting desktop-based research using a combination of specialist research tools designed for online due diligence reports and databases such as Factiva, Lexis-Nexis, Dialog and OneSource
Conducting research using a variety of other online sources, especially commercial registries and corporate databases in a variety of countries and languages
Summarising the information obtained into concise and accurate reports
Coaching and guiding junior analysts in the team
Conducting quality checks on the work completed by junior analysts
Combining the above skills to deliver time-critical and relevant reports to clients
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
Attention to detail;
Adaptability to a dynamic environment often accompanied by shifting priorities and stringent deadlines;
Have discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality;
Drive and commitment to deliver a high quality service
