b. Papers presented at Conferences and / or published in refereed journals. The Academic score as specified under UGC Regulations, 2018, in Appendix II (Table 3,4) for Universities, shall be considered for

(i) A Ph.D. Degree With First Class at Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology and experience Of eight (08) years in teaching, research and / Or industry at the level Of Assistant professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree. 
(ii) A total Score Of seventy five (IS) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 Of the UGC Regulations, 2018. In case the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential: 
(i) First Class Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology. 
(ii) A Ph.D. degree or significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch and industrial / professional experience Of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor, Provided that the recognition for significant professional work shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3-Member Committee Of Experts appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University. Notwithstanding the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: 
(i) Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; 
(ii) Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / granted, books and Or technical reports; 
(iii) Experience of guiding the project work / dissertation Of PG / Research Students Or supervising 
(i) A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines. 
(ii) A Master's Degree with at least marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). 
(iii) A minimum of eight (08) years' of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institutions / industry with a minimum of seven (07) publications in the peer-reviewed or IJGC-listed journals and a total Research (IS) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 ofUGC Regulations, 2018. 
(a) A Master's Degree in Arts Humanities Sciences / Commerce and M. Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), OR 
(b) M. A. (Education) with marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and B. Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) Ph. D. in Education / concerned / allied / relevant discipline and At least eight years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in University department of education or College of Education, with a minimum of three years at the M. Ed./M.A. level and has published work (minimum 5 publications) in the relevant area of specialization. A total Research Score (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 Of UGC Regulations, 2018.

(ii) A Ph.D. degree or significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch and industrial / professional experience of ten y«lrs, out of which at least five years at a senior level Of Associate professor / Reader. Provided that the recognition for significant professional work shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3•Men1ber Committee of Experts appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University. Notwithstanding the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: 
c. (i) Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; 
(ii) Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / granted, books and / or technical reports; 
(iii) Experience Of guiding the project work / dissertation Of PG / Research Students or supervising projects in industry'; 
(iv) Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and or professional activities;
d. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total Research Score or hundred and twenty (120) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 ofUGC Regulations, 2018. 
e. A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university / college as Assistant Professor / Associate professor / Professor, and or research experience at equivalent level at the University / National Level Institutions with evidence of havin successfull uided doctoral candidate. OR An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant / allied / applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence, 
f) (a) A Master's Degree in Arts/ Humanities / Sciences / Commerce and M. Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), OR (b) M. A. (Education) With 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and B. Ed. each With a minimum Of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) 
g) Ph. D. in Education / concerned / allied / relevant discipline and 3) At least ten years of teaching experience lout of which three (03) years as Associate Professor} in University department of education or College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the M. Ed. / M.A. level with published work (minimum 10 publications) in the area of one's specialization. 4) A total Research Score Of one hundred (120) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 ofUGC Regulations, 2018.

Note

1. The Applicant must ensure that he / she fulfils the eligibility conditions for the post. 
2. Candidates who are desirous of applying for more than one posts, shall submit separate application for each post along with the application fee.

6. Applications received after the stipulated date or found incomplete in any respect or with illegible writings may not be entertained and no further correspondence may be entertained in this regard. Candidates are urged to provide as much details of their academic accomplishments as possible by attaching self certified copies of certificates, testimonials, brief write up on awards / honours / research achievements and citations index on their publications. 
7. Candidates must enclose details of their professional ambitions, research they would like to carry out in next five years, minimum requirements to initiate research work in the area of their current interest. This typewritten statement should not exceed two pages. Candidates should enclose photocopies of certificates as evidence of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. 
8. Candidates are advised not to enclose copies of papers which have been submitted but have not yet been entertained.

General Instructions

1. Ph.D. degree is mandatory qualification for appointment Of Professors and Associate Professors. For Assistant Professors, Ph.D. shall be a desirable qualification (since Ph.D. d ree shall be a mandato uali Ication or Assistant Pro essors w.e.. 01.07.2021 Reservarion for OBC is applicable for Assisranr Professor 's post(s) only. 
2. The qualifications and other conditions prescribed in the advertisement are subject to the regulation / norms stipulated by the MHRD / UGC / AICTE, as the case may be, from time ro If a class / division is not awarded at Masters level, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to First Class / Division. If a grade point system is adopted, the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks as per the conversion table / formula specified by the concerned university.
3. The screening of applications, and final selection shall be in accordance with the prevailing UGC and / or AICTE NCTE uidelines/re illations. 
4. All degrees and research works must be preferably in the area for which the post is advertised. 
5. A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed) at the Master's level shall be the essential qualification for direct Jecruitment of teachers and other e divalent cadres at an level. 
6. (i) A relaxation or of marks is provided at the Bachelor's as well as at the Master's level for the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category, for appointment as Assistant professor. (ii) A relaxation Of 5% Of marks is provided to the Ph.D. Degree holders Who have passed their Master's Degree prior to 19th September 1991. (iii)Grade "B" in the UGC•7 point scale with letter grades, O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Masters level shall be regarded as equivalent to 55% of the marks wherever the grading system is followed. (iv)The minimum requirement of of marks or equivalenl grade A' Firs! class. as the case may be, is not insisted upon for the post of Professor for the incumbents who are already in the University system. However, these marks are insisted upon for those entering this system from non-academic and those at the entry point of Assistant Professor. 
7. A relaxation of the minimum marks at the PG level from 55% to 50% for appointment as Assistant Professor may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF/NET examination conducted by UGC/CSIR prior to 1989, when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination were 50%
8. For the posts reserved for PWDs (if any), the minimum degree of disability is 40%. 
9. Candidates applying against posts reserved for OBC category must submit a valid (up-to- date "Non Cream La er" certificate from the a ro riate authori . 
10. Excellent academic background, high quality publications, potential to get research funding from Government agencies and industries, appropriate academic professional activities undenaken and a good innovative teaching record will be some of the important criteria for the selection of facul members. 
11. Ability to carry out interdisciplinary teaching and research will be considered a plus point. 
12. Appointed teachers shall be amenable to any other academic or administrative responsibilities in addition to their re ular teachin and research activities. At present, the UGC and the University rules require the following Teaching Load: Assistant Professor up to 16 hours, Associate Professor and Professor up to 14 hours per week. Teacher should also be prepared to teach all the basic courses in their subjects and related areas which ma not necessaril be theirs ializations.
