Applications are invited for a time bound Project Appointment under the following project.
1. Work area of the Project: Interaction Design, Multi-touch interface, VR/AR
2. Title of the Project: Improving personal health and hygiene in rural schools through an interactive installation
3. Funding agency: IIT Hyderabad
4. Name of P: Dr. Prasad Onkar
4. Institute: Department of Design, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India
5. Post(s): Research Assistant

7. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 20,000 /- + 24% HRA per month (or Hostel facility in campus subject to availability)
8. Qualifications and Necessary skills:
a. Minimum educational qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering / Technology / Design / Architecture with relevant experience in interactive Game Design and development. Candidates with a higher degree (e.g., Master’s and PG) in the above areas are also welcome.
b. Necessary skills: Knowledge of game engines like Unity3D or Unreal Knowledge of programming and scripting (C++/C#/JavaScript/ Pyton)
c. Desirable skills: The candidate should have demonstrated expertise in developing interactive systems like games or interactive systems. Usability testing and Field deployment of interactive systems
Note
1. Candidates with prior experience in relevant area will be given preference.
2. Candidates who are about to finish their course may also apply (provisional certificate from their head of institution required).
3. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis for a minimum period of 6 months which can be extended based on the performance.
