Please refer to the advertisement for Director, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), dated March 21, 2022. In order to increase the zone of consideration so as to receive applications from applicants with eminence and experience, and to progressively align qualifications with the University Grants Commission norms, it has been decided to relax the age criteria for the above post.
The details are as follows-
1. Position: Director
2. As the Director of the Institute, and its principal academic and executive officer, the applicant should be an eminent scholar with proven track record of outstanding research and academic achievements, with the highest level of competence, integrity, and institutional commitment.
3. The applicant should be a distinguished academician, with a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University or ten years of experience in a reputed research and / or academic administrative organisation with proof of having demonstrated academic leadership.

2. The Search Committee set up for the purpose has the right to fill up the vacancy by invitation.
