1. Name of the Post: Research Assistant
2. Nature of Position: Contractual
3. Monthly Fixed Remuneration: INR 30,000
4. Educational Qualification A candidate having a Master's degree with 55% marks from a recognized University India & Abroad in International Relations, Area studies, Defence Studies, Security Studies, Public Policy, and any other related fields of specialization.
5. Other desirable Qualification: Papers presented/published at Conferences and/or in journals. Proficiency in English, Good communication with the ability to draft and edit reports and research proposals, National Eligibility Test (NET) in accordance with UGC Regulations or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
Responsibilities:
1. Organize workshops, training, conferences, and seminars for stakeholders in relevant areas.
2. Identify Research projects funded by the Government of India relevant to the school’s area of interest.
3. Create Research Proposals for the relevant projects under the school.
4. Coordinate on enhancing the quality of daily news bulletin including identifying emerging trends and policy recommendations.
5. Assist the faculty of the school with their research in consonance with the university’s (Teaching Research Extension Education) TREE model.
6. Assist in Research on a specific task for the school
7. Any other tasks assigned by the School Director and/or Vice-chancellor
