On 29/10/2018, OHPC announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed Diploma, B.Tech/B.E, MCA, PG Diploma, CA, MBA/PGDM, LLB, M.A, ICWA, B.Sc for the position of Diploma Engineer Trainee, Graduate Engineer Trainee, Management Trainee.

2 .Training: The training will be for a period of I(One) year, extended. On successful completion of the training, appointed in the respective cadre on probation for a unless and otherwise the candidates will be period of One year and on regular scale of pay with other allowances as mentioned at SI-B. The trainees may be terminated during the training period without any notice or assigning any reasons thereof. 

3. Qualification: 

a. Electrical: Full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/ Institution/ State Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%. 

b. Civil:  Full time Diploma in Civil Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/ Institution/ State Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%. 

c. Mechanical:  Full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/ Institution/ State Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%. 

Age: For DETs, a candidate must not be under 18 (Eighteen) years and not above 32 (Thirty Two) years of age as on 01.10.2018.

However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%. 

d. Instrumentation & Control: Full time Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or full time Degree in any discipline from recognized University/lnstitution, with 2 (two) years PG Diploma in Computer Science or full time Masters Degree in Computer Application from recognized University/lnstitution, with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.

e. IT: Full time Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or full time Degree in any discipline from recognized University/lnstitution, with 2 (two) years PG Diploma in Computer Science or full time Masters Degree in Computer Application from recognized University/lnstitution, with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.

3. Qualification: 

a.HRD: Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma of Two years(Full time) duration in personnel Management/ Industrial Relations & welfare/ HRD/ HRM/ PM & IR/ MBA with specialisation in HRD or Personnel Management from recognised institute of repute with a minimum Of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage Of marks required is 50%. 

b. Finance: Degree in any discipline with CA/CMA

c. Legal: Full time Degree in Bachelor Of Law from recognized University/lnstitution, with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate marks for all candidates.

d. PR: Full time Degree with two years PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass communication from recognized University/lnstitution, with a minimum of 60 % in aggregate marks for all candidates. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%. 

e. Secretarial: Graduate with associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS)/ Fellow member of the ICSI (FCS) desirable additional qualification such as Degree in Law/ CA/ ICWA. 

f. Environment: Degree in Environment Engg./ Management/ BSC in Environmental Science/ Degree in Civil engineering with Degree/ Diploma in Environmental Science or BSC with PG Diploma (02 years) in Environmental science, with a minimum of in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.

Age: Candidate must not be under 21(Twenty One) years and not above the age 32 (Thirty Two) years as on 01.10.2018.

General Instructions

1 .At present, only the online applications are invited from the candidates for admission to the Computer Based Test. After declaration of CBT result the candidates who will be shortlisted in the CBT will be required to furnish a printout / hard copy of online application form along with photo copies of certificate and documents on or before prescribed date, which will be intimated on website on a later date.

2 . A candidate found gui ty of seeking support for his / her candidature by offering illegal gratification or canvasing in any form or found indulging in any type of malpractice in course Of the selection or otherwise, shall, in addition to rendering himself/ herself liable to criminal prosecution, be disqualified not only for the ongoing recruitment, but also may be debarred permanently from any recruitment or selection to be conducted by OHPC.

3. Application submitted to OHPC if found to be incomplete in any respect are liable for rejection. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. Mere applying for the post and fulfilled eligibility criteria in reference to the advertisement does not confer any right for an applicant to claim appbintment. Selection Procedure

Candidates qualifying in the written test (CBT) shall be called for the Personal Interview at Bhubaneswar.  The merit list will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the CBT and personal Interview.
