The NCDIR, Bengaluru invites applications from the professional qualifications for selecting suitable candidates for engagement as Consultant (Medical) purely on contractual basis OR Officers retired from Central Government/State Governments/Union Territories/Autonomous Organizations as detailed below are eligible for the assignment.
1. Name of the post: Consultant (Medical) Qualification Consultant (Medical) Essential: I. MD/MS/DNB (Medicine/ Gynecology/ Surgery/ Radiotherapy/ENT) 2. DM/ M.Ch (Oncology disciplines OR Medical/ Surgical) OR Retired Government employees with above requisite qualification and who were in Grade Pay of Rs 5400 or Level- 10 as per 7th CPC and above
2. Desirable: MPH/M.Sc Epidemiology/ Ph. D Epidemiology.
3. Emoluments: Maximum of Rs.1,00,000 per month (consolidated). Depending upon experience and knowledge, emolument will be fixed.
4. Period of engagement Initially for a period of six months, Extendable for further period which will be based on performance report.
5. Nature of Duties i. To analyze, review and write reports/ Publications on cancer registry datasets. ii. To formulate/ design studies on the continuum of cancer care.
6. Work Experience: Knowledge and Experience in managing cancer patients, Cancer-related Epidemiology, Public health & advocacy Publications.
