Applications are invited for filling up of two (02) posts of Technical Officer (Group A Gazetted) in Level 11 of 7th CPC pay matrix in the Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) on deputation (including short term contract) basis. The eligibility conditions for applicants are as under
1. Position: Technical Officer (Group A Gazetted)
2. No of Post: 02
3. Salary: Level 11 of 7th CPC pay matrix
4. Deputation (Including Short Term Contract}: Officers under the Central Government or States Government or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertaking's or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:
a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or
(ii) With five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level 10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience
(i) Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Communication or Marine or Naval Architecture or Industrial Engineering from a Recognized University or institute.
(ii) Five years working experience in relevant field of engineering out of which at one year experience in Dockyard or Shipyard in Production, Planning, Control and Refit of Ships and Vessels
5. Deputation or re-emplyment (for ex-servicemen): The Armed Forces Personnel of the rank of Lieutenant Commander (IN) or equivalent due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite qualification and experience prescribed for deputation (including short term contract) shall also be considered Such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment
Note:
1. The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
2. Period of deputation (including short term contract) including period of deputation (including short term contract) in another Ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed four years

2. Applications received after the last date or without the Confidential Reports/APARS or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. While forwarding the applications, it may be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officers are correct and that no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending. The details of Major/Minor Penalties imposed on the officer during the last 10 years may also be furnished.
