Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI development, including advanced DAX skills and advanced dimensional data modeling, data visualizations. Ability to develop custom visualizations in PowerBI is a plus.

- 5+ years of experience with large-scale data manipulation and exploration. Fast and fluent with one of the database query languages (SQL, Azure Data Explorer/Kusto).

- 5+ years of experience working in enterprise software development environments and processes (source control, CI/CD, Agile/SCRUM).

- 3+ years of experience using one of the popular programming and scripting languages (C#, Python, PowerShell) for automating routine tasks and processes.

- Good practical understanding of basic statistics and experience with using basic statistics with large volumes of low-level technical data (telemetry, logs, inventory data).

- Passion and curiosity to learn world class data analysis techniques and tools

- Great communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain BI solutions based on Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform and Microsoft Data Stack

- Run data explorations and analysis projects for investigating issues in server hardware and software.

- Own a few large-scale analytical systems end-to-end for supporting key business scenarios. Examples include hardware availability analysis system, hardware repair analytics, firmware freshness and deployment analytics, program and project analytics and so on.

- Study how Microsoft cloud server hardware works and interacts with other layers of the cloud service stack. Know how it is mapped to the data collected from Microsoft Cloud

- Proactively learn data analysis best practices, methods, and techniques. Contribute to BI Infrastructure and Processes improvements.
