Written test and Interview for selection of a Project Manager (as per the following criteria) purely on contract basis for the NABARD funded project on 'Value Chain in Turmeric will be held on 23.06.2020 (Tuesday) at 9.30 a.m. at ICAR-KVK-Alappuzha, ICAR-CPCRI (Regional Station), Kayamkulam, Krishnapuram.
1. Qualification: Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with one year experience in R& D projects in any Research Institutes or K V Ks OR Diploma in Agriculture from KAU with three year experience in R& D projects in any Research Institutes or KVKs.
2. Desirable: i) Knowledge of Computer Applications. ii) Valid two wheeler driving license.
3. Duration: Initially for one year, extendable upto 31.03.2023.
4. Pay: Consolidated fellowship of Rs.25,000/- p.m.
5. Mode of work: Managing the formation and registration of farmers groups. Assisting in conducting trainings and demonstrations in the field, aggregation, processing, value addition and marketing of turmeric. Documentation and preparation of reports.
5.Number of Post: 01.
Terms and Conditions:
i) Only candidates having the essential qualifications would be allowed for the written test.
ii) Those who qualify in written test will only be permitted to attend interview.
iii) The candidates shall not claim regular appointment at this institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
iv) The candidates will have to bring original certificates from matriculation onwards failing which the candidates will not be allowed to attend the written test.
v) Experience Certificate in original, if any.
vi) No TA will be paid for the journey for attending the interview.
